At the top of the wall is some student artwork from General Music class. The collage is something special. I wish I had taken the time to take a clear hi res image of it. I found it in my first classroom in Garden City in 1993. It is made from current events pictures cut from magazines. The images range from 1962 - 1974 or so. I believe it was made shortly after. It has no identifying marks and is not signed. I spent many lunch breaks scanning it inch by inch, trying to identify every image.

There is a poem by student Sean M., a very cool kid who, looking back on him, of course his was a poet. There is picture of a guy playing an impossibly large bass saxophone.

The Band Room Rules are:

1 - Follow directions the first time
2 - Be in your seat 3 minutes after the bell. Warm up properly
3 - When the teacher is speaking, focus on the teacher
4 - When music is being played, focus on the music
